DIRECTORS PROFILE

 Hello, welcome to Dubem TRA-TECH Consultation Services, and my name is Michael Chidubem Ogbonna (Director Dubem TRA-TECH Consultation Services).

I am very glad to have this particular opportunity to apply for a position of Development Knowledge Facilitator in ANOH Gas Field, and with this open letter I would like to express my strong motivation for this technical position. I strongly believe that both my educational background and my deep concern in this field of social work make me a very good candidate for the position. I have grown up in Imo State, around the conflict torn environment of Ohaji Egbema, where people have been facing many obstacles that make them suffer, and hamper the development of our community as whole. So much infrastructural obsolescence and social services diminish in areas such as education, health, hunger and poverty have been a major challenge to our people.

These are the most important things needed for a community to achieve sustainable development and thrive in excellence even while job opportunities are not available. Many years went fast but nothing has changed, and our people are still in need of these social responsibilities. Even though Ohaji Egbema is an Oil Producing Area in Imo State and has many gas and oil wells, Ohaji Egbema people are still suffering in the lake of these banes, many of our youths  are drowning in the ocean of ignorance because of social evil practices, Young mothers and Young fathers are falling victims of child mortality and I became afraid due to these circumstances that has led us to underdevelopment.

For these reasons and for the betterment of my people within the local content communities of ANOH Gas Field, I made up my mind and decided that no matter what it takes I should do something to create impacts with a nonviolent transformative solution to these challenges. To help utilize the wealth of our human and natural resources, transforming lives proactively driven by efficiency in results. And part of my strategic social work techniques is emotional intelligence especially when it comes to drilling their character to match with their creativity. It helps to resonate the passion of youngsters to drive their future into a definite meaningful life in their livelihood. We call it Philosopeace; discovering Talents and utilizing human resources, to enjoy the dividends of our natural resources in peace and lightness. Remember that a peaceful ecosystem is not the absence of conflicts, but sustaining a substantial peace demands a peacebuilding network for proactive response.
